QUOTE OF THE DAY: “WHO YOU MENTOR IS YOUR GREATEST GIFT TO THE WORLD”

ANCHOR TEXT: “A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just”

                Proverbs 13:22.

If what you know how to do best, what you achieve, accumulate or gain in life dies with you, then, you are a monumental failure. If you die unsung; if you do not leave an inheritance behind, you will only be like a snake that just crawled through life. Truly, your assignment here on earth has an expiry date; it has a shelf life. There will be a time you will no longer be strong enough to do what you are presently doing. Moreso, death is inevitable; the Bible says there’s a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted (Ecclesiastes 3:2). You can’t remain agile forever; as you grow in age, your strength reduces, hence the necessity to pass on whatever ability or deposit you have to the next generation. No matter how great you are, no matter the number of your inventions, if you do not pass it on or produce a successor, death will be the end of you, but if you desire to keep affecting your generation long after you have gone; leave a legacy behind. QUOTE OF THE DAY: “HE WHO SOLVES PROBLEM, REMAINS RELEVANT”

ANCHOR TEXT: ““The company of the prophets from Jericho, who were watching, said, “The spirit of Elijah is resting on Elisha.” And they went to meet him and bowed to the ground before him”

                2 Kings 2:15.

Elisha became a sought-after, he became solution to problems. He moved from a position of obscurity into recognition, from a nobody to somebody because he was able to provide solutions to people’s unpleasant situations. Likewise Joseph, having been hated and sold to slavery by his siblings made himself relevant; he interpreted the king’s dream, hence his elevation to the post of the Prime Minister in Egypt. If you have what people need, they will patronize you. (more…)

NO EMINENCE IN IDLENESS

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “WHERE NOTHING IS SOWN, NOTHING IS HARVESTED”

ANCHOR TEXT: “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men”

                Proverbs 22:29 (KJV).

The word diligence used in the above-quoted scripture refers to persistence, hard work, industriousness; earnestness, seriousness, doggedness, indefatigability and effort. Diligence is a good approach to life. It is required in every realm of life. It is the doorway to excellence and prominence. Efforts are the secrets of effects. Thus, the quality of your effort determines the quality of your impact. Nothing works on its own, things are made to work. Prayers are good, but all prayers must be backed up by relevant and godly efforts before there can be results. We fail to realize that sometimes, the God we are waiting for is also waiting for us to do something. Where nothing is done, waiting becomes endless. (more…)
