A good leader desires to serve above personal vision; he is always interested more in other’s success than his. To start with, what is leadership? It is interpersonal influence, exercised in a situation and directed through the communication process, towards the attainment of a specified goal. It is not a ‘one-size fits all’ approach but a matter of adapting an approach that best fits specific condition of followers or group.Leadership is a necessity; if there are no leaders, the society will be in chaos. The problem many nations of the world are facing today is that of leadership. If the leader is wicked, the people suffer but if he’s loving and accomodating, there will be development and joy in the city. ‘When the righetous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn’ (Proverbs 29:2).
