LIVING IN GOD’S BEST
October 30th, 2019

WEDNESDAY, 30TH OCTOBER, 2019.
QUOTE OF THE DAY: “LIFE IS GOOD BECAUSE GOD IS THE BEST” ANCHOR TEXT: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” Jeremiah 29:11.

When God instructed prophet Jeremiah to write the above scriptural chapter, Israel was in disarray, the city of Jerusalem had been destroyed and King Nebuchadnezzar had taken many captive to Babylon. They were not thinking of peace at all; they were in a state of confusion and frustration, yet God sent His word, assuring them His desire for the elect was to live in peace. What they needed to do at that time was to say no to captivity and embrace God and His provisions. God’s provision for mankind is perfect, complete and accurate, it is therefore your responsibility to tap into the already provided and established opportunities. It is all about receiving what God has done and not about getting God to do what He has not done. If you are sick, there is provision of healing in 1 Peter 2:24, just tap into it with faith. (more…)

DO NOT WRITE ANYONE OFF
October 29th, 2019

TUESDAY, 29TH OCTOBER, 2019.
QUOTE OF THE DAY: “IF GOD CAN SAVE ONE, HE CAN SAVE OTHERS”
ANCHOR TEXT:
“But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ” Philippians 3:7.

God is a God of second chance and a God of change. He can use anything to achieve His own purpose. He reserves that prerogative. It is an unfair judgment to condemn or write fellow humans off if God has not done so. Probably while the person was misbehaving, it could be that God was still working on him/her. Who could have imagined that Saul of all people could become Paul? This is a man who derived joy in working contrary to the purpose of God by arresting and persecuting the apostles. He helped the people that stoned Stephen to death to keep their coats. ‘…He went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus so that if he found any there who belonged to the way, he might take them as prisoners’ (Acts 9:1-2). At last he became an apostle of the Gospel. Another character was Rahab, a stigmatized prostitute who became a heroine of faith. Who knew that Moses, a murderer could be changed into a leader? What about Dr. Ben Carson, who was almost written off as a dullard because of his poor performance in class when he was at the lower grade. (more…)

CHOOSE YOUR WORDS CAREFULLY
October 28th, 2019

MONDAY, 28TH OCTOBER, 2019 .
QUOTE OF THE DAY: “WHEN YOU CHANGE YOUR WORDS, YOU CHANGE YOUR WORLD ”
ANCHOR TEXT:
“But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment ” Matthew 12:36 .

It is high time you started using your words to declare good things to your life and destiny. What you say about yourself, situation and circumstance goes a long way in determining how you turn out. Every negative word you speak about yourself ends up manifesting at the very point of your breakthrough. There is no word that goes out without precipitating action; words are backed with action; whatever you say is what you see. Words are wonderful when used in a proper way. They can encourage, edify and give confidence to the sayer and the hearer a t the same time. A right word spoken at the appropriate time can be life cha nging. A child of God is expected to sharpen his/her world in line with God’s word s. Jesus Christ, our perfect example, regards every word we say as being important to the extent that every idle word men speak will be brought into account; don’t talk loosely. (more…)
