QUOTE OF THE DAY: “YOUR TIME IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY,  AND ALSO YOUR POSSIBILITY”

ANCHOR TEXT: “I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all”

Ecclesiastes 9:11.

Larger percent of victims of delay missed their time and chance. Your time is your opportunity, if you miss it, there may never be another time. There are things to do to get what you want and there are paths to tread if you must get to your promise land. The ability to recognise your time and chance is the beginning of lifting. Anything done out of set time will crash. There is need to comply with the law of time and chance, if you want to make early breakthrough in life. The Bible made it known that anything done before it’s time will fail, while a thing done after its time will also die. Timely action will make you shine. (more…)

Mark 9:23.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “WATCHING COMPLEMENTS PRAYERS”

ANCHOR TEXT: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour”

1 Peter 5:8.

Charlotte Elliott composed the song, ‘Christian! Seek not yet repose’ sometime in 1836. Imagine a song writer as far back as then emphasizing the word of God in today’s anchor text. She reminded Christians to always be at alert and be awaken in the Christian journey because ‘thou art in the midst of foes’. Foe simply means enemy, adversary, or opponent. It is whoever or whatever does not want to see you progress in life and destiny; hence you must be watchful and be prayerful.Prayer gives man the strength to stay righteous; not being spiritually and morally corrupted by end-time stress.  It places one on a higher pedestal of victory over issues of life and delivers from being consumed by the enemy.  In Matthew 26:41, Jesus told His disciples in the Garden of Gethsemane to watch and pray so they do not fall into temptation. Jesus knew that unless man prays, he will become a prey to the enemy. To watch on the other hand means to be aware of one’s surrounding realities. It is spiritual alertness. Adam and Eve were not watching, so they sheepishly believed the devil’s lie and fell.
