ANCHOR TEXT: “Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage — with great patience and careful instruction”

2 Timothy 4:2.

If there is anything that guarantees mastery in any endeavour, it is consistency. It is the quality of always being the same, doing things in a regular way, having same standards. If you do a thing over a period of time without compromising standard or cutting corners, you will become a master and be known for it. I am convinced that the biggest reason many are not making any significant and lasting impact is inconsistency. If you allow life’s struggles and pressure of everyday living to distract you from focus, you might find it difficult to leave your footprint on the sound of time. It is a common phenomenon in this part of the world to be engaged in many things at a time; I wonder how that could work. I am not against multiple streams of income; infact, that is the only sustainable way these days, but at the same time, you must be known for a thing. Do not start building material business today only to abandon it for vehicle spare parts in a short time. Be known for a thing; be versed in a profession or a trade. When it comes to road construction today anywhere in the world; a particular construction company readily comes to mind. This is simply the outcome of consistency. When you have stayed long on a trade, you become known for it and attract patronage more.
